Hello,


i have the above netbook and no matter what i do, i can't seem to access the bios. The Acer screen flashes up, i press F2 and then it just says "please wait..." and will not go any further.

Has anyone experienced this or knows what may be the issue?

Try repeatedly pressing the F2 key as the computer is booting.

How old is this netbook? It is possible that the RTC battery (CR 2032) needs to be replaced. Refer to the Service Manual and do this. It may be located near the RAM compartment under the case. Doing this will also reset the BIOS to factory defaults.
