So, having OC'ed my Q6600 to a stable 3.25Ghz (I could probably get higher, but I don't want to push the FSB or up the voltage any more), I find myself with a choice I don't know the answer too.

Memory Speed/timings, I basically have 2 stable options to choose from.

4-4-4-12@722Mhz A 1:1 ratio, or 5-4-4-12@866Mhz A 1:1.2 ratio. (corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX)

Synthetic benchmarks are one thing, and I'm going to run some, but real world experience and performance is another.

So which would you choose and why?

Best to go with 1:1, as stability is a factor, and the core 2's (yes even the quads) do not have an IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) do not really require extremley fast RAM, they make use of more RAM instead. Also I believe the 1:1 also helps reduce latency, as it keeps it tied to the CPU's speed. I could be wrong tho (Tired, no coffee).
