Sony optiarc ad7240s problem

Hello,

My Sony Optiarc AD-7240s suddenly stopped working. Now my computer does not even show the drive!

I have Windows XP Pro Media Center edition updated to SP3. My computer is a HPPavilion a1410n.

I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Par for Sony optical drives. You might check the cables or change the cables outright. Or give this a try.
