Hey guys, quick question, I'm not the best at RAM and it's specs, I understand it, but always like to check with others before I buy so which set is better:

Please note I have linked you to both kits of RAM and benchmarks by the same website for comparison. I have looked at the numbers and am tied between the two.

Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

Benchmark from Hardware Logic:

OR------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit

Benchmark from Hardware Logic:

The Patriot looks awesome, and I'd love to have that in my computer, but I've been hearing that the G.Skill is better.

I'd get the g skill slightly cheaper and better voltage. G Skill also seems to agree with most motherboards but check your QVL first.

$2 won't kill me and neither will the voltage cuz I'm already running at 2.2V with my current RAM.

Performance wise, how do these two kits stack up against eachother?

G-skill all the way . I own a Pi-Black set and i love it, runs 4-4-4-12 1t @ 800 with 1.85V EZ and COLD ( 30-31 c on gaming temp prob sticked on my "hottest" stick (the one with less air flow) )
