Help with my bluray player

Just built my new system and put in a pioneer bluray player. When I try to watch my bluray movies it doesn't work. The bluray movies come with a digital copy that is made to watch on like computers and stuff but in my laptop I have a bluray player and i don't need to use the digital copy. I just put in my bluray disc and it come right on. How can I fix my desktop to do the same. I did buy a program to watch them on, Corel WinDVD 9.

Have an HD monitor?

I do not. I have a 30in samsung and a 22 inc LG. Didn't think I would need a HD monitor, thought would play but just not look as good as it would with HD one

i have the LG Super multi Blu Ray HDDVD burner and had the same problem

Use Anydvdhd to decrypt and it will play

You have a 30 inch? 2560x1600?

If so, that's higher than HD, and definitely not the problem.

Did you buy WinDVD 9 plus Bluray edition or the regular edition?

Your videocard and your monitor have to be HDPC compliant or it wont play, without something like AnyDVD HD.

the any dvdhd program worked amazingly , bought it and now i can play my blurays. thanks alot
