I don't know much about computer to build one up all to myself.
My friend is considering selling his system , spec as follow..

So how much is this system worth and how much can i offer him?

If you just want to surf the internet and do e-mail, then the system is ok, and worth $200 or so. Consider that you can get a basic new pre-built system for not much more.

If you have any hopes of playing any games that are the least bit demanding, I would not buy it.

that computer really isn't all that bad...considering the 800mhz OC...if used for gaming the weak point would definitely be the 7600gt video card...but that can easily be swapped if you want to game...but then again that psu probably isnt up to the job (its got a single 12v rail carying 18A)...so I would agree with geofelt and say the comp is worth about $200...

let us know what you are going to be doing with the comp and what is your budget...(and dont worry, we're just as good with extreme budget builds as we are with high-budget builds)...

I'd say a touch higher, assuming it come with an OS, but I see its not listed, and neither is a HDD
