CDRom not recognized in BIOS

Hey guys just setup a new system and im loading windows and trying to Dowload the drivers, but my PC now no longer recognizes the CDRom drive.

Just upgraded to my first PCI-E MoBo, CDRom and both HDDs are AGP but MoBo has 1 IDE connector which runs both my HDDs, now the CDRom is running SATA Off a IDE-->Sata convertor. The power is connected, but BIOS doesnt seem to recognize that i have a CDRom hooked up.. any ideas!?

  1. Get an external enclosure for the CD-Rom or better buy a SATA DVD-RW for about $30.00.
