Boot stalls on BIOS setup access screen

I've got an HP Pavilion a6130n. It has been running fine for several months, but all of a sudden, when I try to reboot, it stalls on the BIOS setup access screen, sometimes for hours, and then boots normally. I've checked the MBR for viruses with Kaspersky but haven't found anything. I've also run scans with Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

An option is the BIOS is Pause on certain errors. Keyboard/Mouse/RAM issuse maybe?

In my Award BIOS 6.00pg there seems to be no option to turn off the RAM check.
