I moved into an apartment with a large TV. I originally bought a 4870 graphics card. It was defective. I am currently using my 320gts, but not playing games through the TV. I wanted to upgrade to a better video card to play at high resolution through the TV/PC . I wanted to buy a 260gtx, but I read that it is an inch longer than the 4870 512mb card. The 4870 barely fit into my case which is a tower case Gigabyte Aurora. Can anyone confirm that the 260/280 series is longer than the 4800 series. And if it is, by how much.
It wont fit in the case unless I yank half of the inside metal out of the inside of the case. Anyone ever seen a Gigabyte 3d rocket. That thing is SO big youd have to have a case the size of a small refrigerator to show it off.
