PC wont boot and Bios doesn t recognise either of my HDD?

Hello,
My PC was running fine, then with no warning it wont boot and is not reconising either of my HDD's. What could be wrong and how do I fix it?

Check data cables and power.
Could be dead hard disks or bad motherboard controller.
Try a known good disk on the motherboard for test purposes.
Try one of your HDDs on another computer.
