I posted a thread awhile ago about my PSU. Now I am starting to question my CPU. I currently have a AMD 2.6 Quad-Core selected for my new build. would I be better off sticking with what I have or should I go with a Dual-core for time being and in Q4 of '09 upgrade my mobo and cpu to AMD AM3 socket and AM3 quad. Money isn't a big setback for me but it still lingers in my choices. Basically what I am asking is if I get the Dual-core, will I be left in the dust for future games next year. Games I am currently playing are crysis, left 4 dead, cod4, and fallout 3

I'd suggest going with the quad, chances are the games next year will start to like the quads more.
