I bought a used PC from my friend. The weird thing is that I don't know the motherboard company. I searched the whole net for something and didn't find anything.

Second:
AND here is the motherboard report from EVEREST ULTIMATE EDITION v4.60.1500.
you posted images instead of links (and they don't work. try a blog)
Try CPU-Z (download from www.CPUID.com) to identify your motherboard
your EVEREST ULTIMATE EDITION report does not recognize the mother, only the intel chipset. Some bios updates delete the manufacturer model. probably your friend updated the BIOS.
Your motherboard model should be written in the motherboard. try taking photos of the texts.
It should support any socktet 478 celeron or pentium 4 with a FSB of 400mhz.
The CPU in it is one of the better ones. You might be able to find a higher clocked celeron but I cannot be 100% certain that the voltage requirements of a CPU over 2.0GHZ. In other words its a total crap shoot. Your best bet (if yur going to spend money) is to just buy something newer. Spending money on a socket 478 doesn't make much sense. But hey, it's yur pocket book.
BTW - Higher clocked celerons w/400mhz FSB are like 2.6ghz (i think). What little bit that you gain with a higher clock can often be lost because a celeron has less L2 cache. Might be a waste of cash because there is a possibility that it wont work on that motherboard anyway.
Perhaps taking the motherboard out completely will help find a manufacturer label. It's an intel chipset (might be an intel motherboard).
Perhaps some one else has more knowledge about the Pentium4/Celerons from that age. If you are lucky it will take any Pentium4/Celeron with a FSB of 400mhz regardless of all else.

Back to the question, will it work with your motherboard?
$79 or $85 will get you an AM2 motherboard and 2gb of memory with money to spare. In fact $85 can get you an AM2 motherboard/Single core cpu, and 2gb of memory. Add a little more and you have a dual core.
Of course you can find specials or deals on other sites so good luck hunting and hoping it works..
