I haven't found this exact topic so here goes my question. (sorry in advance if I haven't searched for the correct wording)

If you have a TRI SLI Motherboard.

Say you purchase 3 260GTX

So your setup is like this

SLI Port #1 260 GTX
SLI Port #2 260 GTX
SLI Port #3 260 GTX

Can you SLI 1 + 2 for a single monitor.

Then can you use SLI #3 for another Monitor Or 2 other monitors

Therefore having Dual Monitors or 3 Monitors.

Thanks in advance!

i dont believe you can do that now. i think the new driver big bang 2 has that capability.

My buddy and I had a long discussion about my question. He believes it to be a bus issue. However, if you do not SLI your cards you can run monitors off of each one. So I know the bus can handle a multi monitor setup without SLI. Boards can also run multi monitor setups using a PCI 1x and SLI on PCIE16x. So why couldn't a board handle 2 SLI PCIE 16x and 1 PCIE16x non SLI.

I wish I could find some info on this setup idea.
