After th great movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. I went to a LAN party and someone told me that my case reminded me of the Monolith. The build went fairly smooth, slapped her together quick and I was playing Crysis before I knew it. (two of my vcards were DOA :fou: ) Questions/Comments are more than welcome.... (not pictured but I have added a Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro PCI)

2 video cards dead on arrival. That's a pisser. Which ones are they ? ....... or was it a different reason ? Looks nice by the way.

If you read some reviews on newegg for the card you will see that many people have had DOA issues. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814143147

The cards actually looked used when I got them, one had the PCI bracket all bent out of shape..like it was dropped.

It makes me laugh..... and makes me sick....... A lot of people complaining about these particular cards. Makes me wonder if newegg gets the RMA and then keeps shipping the defective cards until somebody doesn't complain about it. If yours looked used I'd be on the phone with the egg and make them pay for all the shipping and no restock fee and order something else. I hope they work out for you.

I have not talked to Newegg about the issue because technically it is not their fault. I was on the phone and emailing a BFG rep and all he had to say was sorry. I did not have to pay for any shipping or restocking fees, so thats not a big deal. It just sucks that for 2-3 weeks I was unable to use the SLI technology I payed for.. all because BFG's Quality Assurance dept is not doing their job. They are working great now, I hope they last.
