My system consists of the following.
e6750 CPU
Gigabyte 935P-DS3R board bios F6
2 Gigs Corsair Ram 4-4-4-12
VisionTEk 4850 GPU Catalyst 8.5 drivers
XP Pro OS
Up until now the system has run fine but a little slow. I installed 2 2gig sticks of Patriot 5-5-5-12 memory and had the system running fine.
My problem comes only when running Everquest. After about 15 min I get a run time error and the game crashes. I believe this to be a high memory error. Since I can find no way of disabling that function in my bios it seems like the Catalyst drivers are just incompatable with the 4 gigs of memory with the gigabyte board.
It does not appear that updating the bios will help. I am not sure if updating the drivers will do anything either unless they worked on that area.
Can anyone offer a suggestion as to how to make this work other than go to a geforce gpu?
