Hi,

My now 4 year old ati 9800 pro graphics card has finally gone caput and I was looking to buy a new one on the cheap.

I just wanted something that was cheap and would work in my Dell 8300. I'm not sure what motherboard I have but the manual says its a intel 875p chipset, 3ghz pentium 4. It definately only accepts an agp card and as the last ATI one worked really well I was going to just grab another but before I fork out some money I was just hoping for some advice as to what card to get...

will any agp card work on my system?
can anyone recommend a good budget card?

I was thinking of something like either of these but would welcome any and all advice

I couldn't find a better deal then the X1650 pro you listed which should be a slight upgrade from your old card.

No, I would personally go with one of these:

Those, as far as I know, are the best AGP cards on the market.

Oh wait sorry didn't know you were in the UK, so if you can find those on a site (you should at least be able to look at them on the links I posted) that will deliver to you, those wold be your best bet.
