I recently upgraded the processor in a system I built a while go, however I was a bit arrogant per say and accidently installed it backwards. After this neither the board nor processor worked, however I just thought it was motherboard. After I got a new motherboard I tried the processor again and it didn't work (I installed it correctly this time) so I got a replacement for the processor. Is it possible that the new motherboard I have is already screwed from trying the broken processor in it or is it fine to install the new one?

Thanks.

There shouldn't be any issues, however I'd still pop out the CMOS battery for about 10min before installing it.
