I have a second internal Hard Drive (V) that is failing. It's not my Operating System Hard Drive (C ), so my computer runs normally, except that I can't access any of the files on that secondary drive (mostly video files and Adobe Premiere and After Effects projects.) I can see the files and click on them, however they don't open and I can't drag them to the other drive without getting I/O errors. Ox8007045D. Is there anything I can do or am I SOL?
P.S. i tried the Seagate DOS program and it failed. And CHKDSK freezes up on stage 2.

Spinrite gave me a critical overflow error or something like that...
Prior to that i sat at 0.02% complete.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Try running Spinrite on another motherboard, try setting SATA mode to IDE mode, to let spinrite detect the drive. Spinrite doesn't appear to work on all motherboards i've experienced.
