Hi,

does anyone knows if there will be more affordable LGA1366 motherboards to sell on Q1 2009?

The i7 CPU prices are acceptable but current LGA1366 motherboard prices are excessive to most of people willing to buy an i7 system.
I'm pretty sure if an i7-920 system would cost less $100 (-50 mobo and -50 DDR3 ram) it would be a major success.
