Using Blueray drive in PC

Was not sure what was the right section to post this into.

I am contemplating installing a blueray drive into my PC, rather than buying a standalone player. I have the following spec PC :

E2140 Dual Core
2Gb RAM
256Mb 8600GT OC
Sata Drives

Just wondering if the BlueRay discs will play fine on this setup. My machine plays all HD content (stored on local drives) with no problems at all. The processing is done by the GPU (using Media Player Classic Home Cinema). The drive I am looking at comes with PowerDVD, which would also use the GPU to do the processing.

I have a Full 1080p 42" Plasma TV, which is connected using a DVI-HDMI cable to the TV.

Just wondered if there are any problems or pitholes that I should be aware of with this.

Any advice or recommendations appreciated.

It should work just fine. I'd go for it.

Only slight pithole is that audio won't be sent down the HDMI lead like AMD cards will.

If you've already got them connected though I guess you're fully aware!
