I just dled it myself, and i did notice a pretty good boost in performance from the beta driver 177.92 in 3dmark06. I got some screenies :)

Let's start with the old stuff for comparison.

This is driver 169.44 my processor was at 3.3ghz for this benchmark.

This is driver 175.16 again processor at 3.3ghz, and yes i know i didn't update the driver for a long time :)

I don't have a screenie of the driver i was just using, 177.**, but i got about 13500-14000 with that one. Which was a decrease in performance, but my processor is at 3.2ghz x8 multi.

Latest driver 178.24, processor at 3.2ghz x8 multi.

As you can see it bumped me back up to a ~14500 score, and my processor is a little "slower" then it was for the other two drivers. I give this one a thumbs up :)
