AMD Phenom II x2 box cooler

I have been using my box cooler ever since i built my new machine, It kept it quite cool but first it was almost silent on idle and now its quite loud.

It is held in the retention bracket properly i just don't see why its so loud.

Any suggestions?

Dust on the blades muckin with the balance. Which if there is dust building up around it,
it may be running hotter and if C&Q is enabled well it will ramp up the fan speed.
Maybe its just getting worn out.

If it is getting worn out another heatsink and fan may be needed.

The machine is not even a month old, So dust is out of the question (I checked) but yes cool and quiet is enabled, Same with the fan only being like a month old so i doubt it is worn out.

Will the RPM, noise and Temp's change if i disable C&Q?

Are you feeling adventuress ???
If so take the fan out , remove the AMD sticker, [very carefully] ,now give the fan a drop or two of the finest oil you can get,sewing machine comes to mind,spin it a few times manually replace sticker reinstall..
I have done any number of my fans in a similar fashion,they now run real quite...
