I've noticed that expensive RAM with higher MHz tend to have slower timings. Don't these two cancel each other out? Why not have both high MHz and fast timings?
Take this for example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227364
DDR2 1066, 7-7-7-20
I recall that my slower and cheaper RAM is:
DDR2 800, 5-5-5-15
