But this link off HPs website http://www.shopping.hp.com/can/computer/categories/memo... is suggesting ddr2 memory for my labtop. (The memory finder, and then pavilion dv1000...)
What really happens if you put ddr2 memory in a ddr slot? They're both 200 pin, you can match up voltage and latency, etc. I know everyone says it doesn't work. I was just wondering... When I open my labtop, it has ddr pc2700 memory in there now...
