I have my computer all set....except the video card. I have a 22" 2ms 1680 x 1050 monitor. I want to play crysis maxed out with AA. Please help. So f-ing difficult. Thanks guys. This is the most difficult thing for me to pick so I am coming to yall. I don't care if your nvidia or ati fans. Just help please lol.

4870 ( X2 if you can affort it) seems to be te best bang ATM

intel core i7 920 2.66ghz processor (plan to overclock it)

vigor monsoon III cpu cooler (taking stock fan off and adding 2 antec tricool 120mm fans on both sides for cooling and exhaust)

WD veloci-raptor 300gb hdd

samsung 22x cd/dvd drive (x2)

Dump the raptor. Get the WD640 and the x2. If thats not enough money saved, get a different PSU. You don't need 1kW for this build.

1kw comes in a combo with the case on newegg + gives me room for expanding in future if I eventually plan on it

All X58 boards should be able to do both. Nvidia finally allows it. If you have $400-500 for a video card, then get the x2 already listed. If you need to save some dough, drop the hdd a bit. The WD640 isn't a bad drive.

no reason to get i7 for gaming. a core 2 does not bottleneck the 4870X2 so therefore you would get almost no gaming benefit for a MUCH higher price.

^ I would personally enjoy benchmarks for oc on that card!
