I'm stuck with making my decesion on mobo/gpu combo.

the 2 options:

option A
MSI P45 Neo2-FR

and
MSI Radeon 4850

option B
ASUS P5Q Pro

with
ASUS EAH4850 TOP

I was originally going to get the asus p5q pro, and the combo gives you the overclocked version of the 4850 with a better cooler. However I read numerous reviews saying that mobo often comes DOA. Do MSI have a better track record?

DOA from my own experiences is just part of statistics (in other words if you're unlucky then you'll get one). I'd stick with option B.
