  1. Have you read the guide in the overclocking section about how to OC Core2Duos and Core2Quads?

If not, start there and come back with questions once you have read it.
  2. is it the Core 2 Duo E4500? If so, i would say yes, go for the OC and do as huron said, read the section on how to OC the Core 2 line of CPU's. I got mine to 3.3 ghz stable, i usually run it at 3.0 for gaming so there are no issues, but use 3.3 for other tasks...
  3. its the core 2 duo t6600
  4. T6600 is a notebook CPU. It's never a good idea to overclock a notebook CPU.
  5. For a desktop, overclocking is certainly worth it. For a laptop, not so much :D.
  6. In no way shape or form OC that Notebook CPU, it's like putting nice rims on a 98 Saturn, completely pointless. When it comes to overclocking, stick with Desktop issues. that's why you hardly ever see (if at all) "OC Edition" Laptops or laptop hardware.
