I want to upgrade my tv viewing scenario in the family room. I am not a home
entertainment aficionado, so like everyone, I want to watch the pennies. I
have a 7 year old 36" Mitsubishi TV, Dish Network, DVD, VCR, and surround. I
am looking at a Mitsubishi PD-5030 plasma monitor and upgrading the Dish
receiver to HD. I am looking at wall mount because I need the space the
existing TV takes with the stand. Any advice or experiences would be
appreciated. Thank you.

I would avoid plasma. Long term cost of operation does not look good.

So what else or which LCD would be adviseable to hang on the wall like a
picture?
