I have been researching and researching the 48xx's but because of the recent death of our American economy, I have lowered my price limit. But at under $100, I can not figure out what is the best "bang for the buck" card. I feel like a kid in a candy store. I have checked out 4670's, 3870's, 9800's and 8800's but I can not find the best of them, so I came here.
What would be the best possible graphics card for my system?!
The 9800GT (also called the 8800GT) is a little over $100, but if you can afford it you should get it. At $80 the Radeon 4670 is one of the best values. In some cases it will edge out the 3870, especially when AA is enabled, and it's really the cheapest card you can actually game with at decent levels. I don't consider the 3870 a good value right now since those that are under $100 are often not full speed 3870s, having lower clock speeds especially on the mem side compared to the full speed 3870s that are around $120-140. Right now the 9600GT is probably the fastest sub $100 card even if it's currently low price is a direct result of competition from the 4670. I particularly like this MSI one with dual slot cooling.
I would suggest the 4670 in your price range. I couldn't find any 8800GT/9800GT's under $100. There are some just slightly over $100, but if the $100 budget is strict I would go with the 4670.
I checked out your newegg cart and have one major suggestion - NEVER BUY A RAIDMAX PSU!. Raidmax is widely considered one of the worst manufacturers of PSU's. Check out the new Corsair 400CX. It's the same price after MIR and a MUCH better PSU.
You can also look at PSU's from other reputable companies like PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, OCZ, Zalman, Antec, etc... You will certainly regret going cheap on the PSU when it blows up and takes your new system with it.

I couldn't get through the link to your system. Please just post your components (it's easier to look at that way).
I'd say get a 9800 GT (around $110) in that price range. I think you can get a 4850 for $130 with some rebates if you watch. That's a significant jump for only $30.
Post your components, and maybe we can find a way that you can save in some areas, and get a better GPU.
the 4670 is definitely a great card for a person on a tight budget...
I personally have the Raidmax PSU you listed. I took a risk on it (a huge one actually...lol) and it ended up working perfectly in my rig. I really do like the "semi-modular" cabling system...helps keep things nice a organized. But the main reason why I chose it was because it was part of an awesome combo deal...so if I were to get a PSU separately, I would probably go with a more reliable PSU (a cheap antec one most likely)

That was fast...I'm most likely going to consider the HIS Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Turbo since it rebates at $79. If the 4830 is in the low $100's, I will wait to get it. I have heard about it and it sounds good to me. My power supply has been quite reliable. I knew it was not the best brand, but it has good reviews going for it and was the cheapest at the time so I bought it and it still works 100%. But thanks for the information, I will use it in the future.
So thanks alot for the help!! I now realize that weeks of research is not as good than direct contact with fellow customers.
