Hello Everyone, Im looking to put a red light in my brother lexan case to light up a window decal. Most reviews I read say that the lights Im looking at are more orange than red. Does anyone know of a true red LED other than the metour light. (My brother wont go for the blinking/stobeing thing). Thank you for any help you can give.

well you can buy super red LEDs in most electronics stores (they are red and just as bright as those blue LEDs that are so popular).

put a resistor in series with them so they fit 5-12v or whatever you want to use (they can tell you which kind of resistor to use) put it together and viola red lights

or you could go for cold cathode lighting, VERY bright (not blinking) and can be red or several other colors.

Use a 1K ohm resistor in series with the resistors or to be safe one per LED. Quarter watt or higher is fine.
