i have a xfx 750a and am running a 6400+ 125w cpu and i would like to up grade to the new phenom II 940 125w my question is has any one tried it on the xfx 750a mother board? i know that its only rated at 95w but my 125w 6400 works and i know some have used a 9850 125w phenom and seems to run it well but has any one tried the new phenom II on the xfx 750a motherboard yet? and does it work well?

bump i am hoping some one has tried the phenom with the xfx 750a before i buy it because if it doesnt work then i would have to buy a new mother board and if im going to do that i woud rather save up for the i7 then but thats a big difference 300 compared to 600 so any xfx 750a users try the new phenom yet?

well i went ahead and bought the new phenom II and it works great i even overclocked it to 3.7 so if you have the xfx 750a go for it

thanks man for the info i 2 have a 750 a sli im runnung a amd 5000 blk oced to 3.3 and im looking to run a phenom 2 940
im using water cooling custome loop im going to be building hopfuley i get it to 4.0 whats your temps with the spin q cuz right now im using the max orb check out my rig tell me what ya think
