I'm not sure if this is the right category and I apologize if it isn't.
I installed Windows 7 on a new partition and it's running great. Anyways, the realtek audio manager looks completely different compared to the XP version and it's missing many features that I like, some being the equalizer and the Headphone setting (which makes things sound VERY good on my XP with a headphone). I was wondering why this might be and if there was a way to get the audio manager like the one I see on XP.
Consider yourself blessed that there IS an audio manager at all - this is all beta stuff: you'll be lucky if you don't have to reformat/reinstall weekly...
Maybe I should have clarified... even on Vista, the audio manager looks completely different. For some reason, there is no equalizer or the Dolby stuff like Dolby Pro Logic II, or the Dolby Headphone option. I'm not talking specifically about Windows 7 and I apologize for not being clear.
These 'post-processing' features are turning out to be a headache (not only for RealTek, but for others, too) for a large number of people running media center,
