Windows XP install stops @ 93%

I've been trying to reformat and install Windows XP back on Acer laptop with the install stopping at 80%, just now I replaced the MBR, and started the install again but it stopped at 93%, (atiixpag.inf) If I skip this file and any more after this, will Windows still load and then afterwards can I just go and get the files afterwards ?
NOTE: I've been getting some good advice here and we have tried Ultimate bootCD, MEMTEST86, using a copy that was burned at a slower speed, tried my Win 7 Ultimate disk, still won't finish.
