Folks,

Per my last week debacle - the wife to be has let me build a new system.

Would love your input:

Total Cost: $200 (Getting the processor as a wedding gift! - good friends I have...)

-Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz (Freebie)
-MB-N680-ILT9 nForce 680i 775 ATX Motherboard
-Crucial 2GB PC-5300 DDR2 Memory Kit (Two 1GB DDR2-667 Memory Modules
-e-GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB GDDR3 PCIe Graphics Card

Already Have:
-Antec Lanboy Case
-500W ThermalTake psu
-2 Maxtor 80GB Hard Drives
-Floppy
-24x DVD

What games were you planning on playing? I'd definitely upgrade the video card and maybe get 4gb of ram instead of 2 if you have the extra money.

A single 8800GT or HD 4850 would be better idea than 8600GTS SLI. I hope you can afford the upgrade, it's a big difference.
