I built this system about 2 years ago and from day 1 it's had this problem, but I've been too lazy to fix it or find out which part is really causing the problem, my bad :p

Basically I can't see half of the colors that i'm supposed to. eg. no red, no light green, no yellow, no light blue. So it's like if you turned the RGB on your computer to 0,255,255.

These are the parts that make up my computer:

Motherboard: nF4 Lanparty (i think it's Ultra-D)

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+

Memory: 2x1gb corsair

GFX: nVidia Geforce 7800 GTX

PSU: Antec 380W somethingorother

I bought the GFX card, CPU and PSU off my mate and i bought the nf4 lanparty new.

What should I do?

My instinct tells me to get a new graphics card, but before i go splurging i just wanted to make sure there wasn't any other obvious reasons this might be happening..

It would show up as normal colours on your screen.

It's not my monitor either, I've tested different monitors.

If only I had another pci-e graphics card to test :\

Uninstall forceware & delete your nvidia profile folder. For xp, it's under:

C:\Documents and Settings\***YOUR***ACCOUNT***\Application Data\

For Vista, it's under:

C:\Users\***YOUR***ACCOUNT***\AppData\Local\

Install the latest.

Loosen up & reseat your video cable.

Sorry for the late reply.

Tried this, didn't work.

I'm 99% sure it's either my motherboard or graphics card.. not sure which.

So has anyone else had this same problem?
