Nvidia EVGA e-GeForce 8600 GTS Superclocked frustation!

Hello guys I'm pretty new to forums so I don't know where to find info about this card, so I created a new one, sorry in advance, anyways I just bought this nvidia 8600gts from tigerdirect.com and guess what? when i plug it in, and turn on the computer The computer itself don't turn on! I've installed the drivers for the new one, but didn't unistall the older ones, because of the fact that my older card is another pci-e slot card, and unistalling older drivers, is for merely motherboard-integrated videochips, (This is what I think), anyways I got all the minimun requirements:

SATA 100gb maxtor hardrive
4gb ram
650w Power supply
Pci-express slot and 6-pin connector
windows vista xp media center 2005
direct x9

Can someone help me with this card, anyone has the same problem? it's so frustating having all this power and enable to use it! ahhhh

When doesn't turn on I mean, it's like there isn't power enough for the computer, nothing works , fans, led, nothing... please help me!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the video card is dead.
