hi all, i want to build a new computer for gaming and i already bought the cpu, which is p4 e8600 and the graphic card im using is evag geforce 9800gtx+ 1gb, 4gb of ram and 500HD. the problem is i do not know which motherboard to get. some people says ASUS is a good brand.

and how can i tell how much wattage do i need for the new computer. thanks

The choice of motherboard might be defined by what you plan on doing with it - OC, or not, SLI, or not.

Wattage is dependent mostly on how many video cards you will want to run, for the card you've chosen, you might want something around 500-600 watts. For SLI, you will want more. And also check the 12v rail amperage, as that is equally if not more important than the wattage. Don't save money by getting a cheap power supply, read these forums and see how many problems are caused by them.
