I can't install XP pro on a SATA HD. My MB is an ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe.
When XP is ready to be installled, the blue screen shows up telling there is some hardware malfunctioning.
I read already some info about a floppy disk with some driver, but I need
more info.
I need to know the link to get those drivers that I need to download to a floppy and how to do it exactly.
Can someone give me step by step instructions?? Please...

Solution
extract the files to a floppy

boot from your Windows CD

once the install process started insert the floppy

during the installation process you will have the option to hit F6 to install drivers of a floppy

Thanks for your info. I know how to install windows and I know about F6, but I don't know what is (are) the required drivers for the sata hard disk, that I need to put in a floppy disk and then add when F6 is pressed.
You gave me the link to directly download a file, but I don't know what to do with it. I downloaded it , and know what??? I am supposed to copy all the files from the zip file to a floppy? or just choose one of those files and put it in the floppy???
Can you explain what to do with the downloaded file?

thanks for you help
