I will be using only air cooling with a large aftermark HSF combo etc, but is 1.45v enough to OC on air? I have just started looking into the Phenom Mobos...

I'm not in the mood for high temps etc, so I wouldn't be pushing an etremely high vcore anyway..

Solution
It depends on the CPU that you are using.

Assuming you are using the most popular AMD CPU, the Phenom II 955:

A lot of the 955 owners claim that they can hit at least 3.6GHz at stock Vcore which is 1.35V.

Hence, 1.45V should be more than sufficient for any OC under 3.6GHz.
