Dear All,

i want to buy a very fast 15" laptop. currently the fastest i can find are 8800gtx m or 9800 gt.

firstly which is faster ?and secondly does anybody know the line up for 2009 ? maybe nvidia are releasing new mobile graphics cards in 09 that may be wroth waiting for ?

well from what i've heard, the 8800s and the 9800s are about the same in performance, just that the 9800s are more power efficient, but that is only what i've heard, so don't count me on it.

as for the 09 line up . . . i got no idea, you could go to the nVidia wikipedia and look it up, they usually have rumors and the such. that's how i found out about the i7 core.

well i believe the 8800gtx would be a little faster, and for a 15" laptop either of these cards eshould run perfectly.
as far as what nvidia has planned for next year, all i know is that the cards will cost a crap load and the only benefit most people will get out of it is a drop in prices of other cards.
