I was considering an affordable cpu from either intel or amd (i am on a limited budget) for watching videos and light gaming (mostly WoW) do you guys have any suggestions?

Newegg has several amd and Intel combos. Some of the amd dual core with board are around $100. Choose motherboard>motherboard + cpu. Pick a budget. I use a g33 chipset board for my main rig; picked it up with an Intel e4500 for only $49.99 last oct at Fry's during a closeout special. Expect to spend about $50 more for an Intel combo, but for your needs, amd may work fine. The current equivalent to my cpu is the e5200. Mine is already obsolete.
