I need a new Motherboard as i am having some odd issues (PCI slot not working, one DIMM not working). ANyway i have DDR2 667 RAM and a 775 P4 3.2G HT. The newer motherboards say 775 core 2 duo but not P4 775 HT. If i get one of the newer MSI or ASUS boards will my processor work?

Thanks Again
Roger

If its a socket LGA775 it will work. All newer boards support older CPUs. If you are just looking for a cheap board to get you buy then check out P43 chipsets

Not all of these have DVI connection so check well. If you are using onboard video then I recommend buying nothing older than those above. Those boards also have alot of good features like HDMI (a few even have dual HDMI), eSATA, firewire, optical sound, multiple video outputs....
