hey i have a PQ5 mobo and 8 gigs of ddr2 900 ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Im running on windows vista 32 atm (newegg sent me the wrong OS><, will be running 64 bit in a week)

Anyways on my mobo info it shows my clock speeds on my memory at 800 wtf? I was planning on learning to OC and was suggested i get at least ddr2 900 for my project.

Also it's showing my memory type as ddr..

Anyways wtf info?

DDR2-900 is probably just DDR2-800 that is guaranteed to overclock to 900. It won't autodetect as 900, you'll have to manually set the memory settings.

Nope i looked at my invoice and called. There was a 32 bit OS in a 64 bit OEM wrapper. Oh boy will this be fun trying to straighten out.
