I think my current D-Link router is on its way out as my MacBook is constantly being disconnected and I have to shut off the network adaptor and turn it back on to continue my internet session.
It's not my modem because my wired PC never loses connectivity, and I don't believe its my MacBook because a) its new (not always a strong indicator, but it's got some weight) and b) I remember having similar problems with this router in the past.
So I am on the hunt for a new router, but there are a lot of cheap and expensive ones. I am looking to spend around $40 because I can't justify spending more on this thing (maybe you can convince me otherwise...)
My uses for it are for my HTPC (currently building) in the living room and other wirelessly connected devices in the apartment.
