Yeah I read that too. Why do they test budget CPU with GTX 280. More likely real life situation would be HD 4670. And compare it with $160 E8200, E5200 would be better comparison in price range.

I was interested in those, but that TDP is just awful. I also don't get why it took them so long to disable another core. Still, its performance and improvements over Brisbane are impressive.

It was more aimed at a clock-for-clock comparison I would say, and the results confuse the hell out of me. This is a dual core B3 Phenom, keeping up with dual core Penryn, why dont the quad Phenoms keep up with quad Penryns??
