We have a PC running XP Pro. The computer and network came with some large equipment this computer helps run.

Through this card we have no Internet access nor can the network be seen.

Out of factory warranty, we have a consultant to work on the software. He needs remote access. Suggested we install USB to Ethernet adapter.

Will not accept IP address,

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Jim

What do you mean? Do you have a wireless router configured as a DHCP server or are you assigning a static IP address? Is the signal between the USB to Ethernet adapter and the router good to excellent?
