Windows 7 error

i want to jump up to windows 7..... it installed fine but when i boot i get a screen with multi colored tiles and weird letters and numbers..................

did you made a fresh install of win 7

Did you check if you system supports Windows 7? Have all the drivers you need?

At what point do the images show up, after Windows starts to load or soon as you turn on the PC? Can you start in Safe Mode, does it look OK then.

What you see is usually a bad display adapter or driver issue, install the previous OS and see if the issue goes away, especialy if you check and don't find any Win 7 drivers for your computer.

Sounds like a driver issue, especially if it worked ok with the original OS installed.

I would check here to see if your system is compatible with Win 7 as stated in the previous reply
