I'm about to build my first gaming computer and I'm getting the HIS ICEQ4 4850. I want a power supply that will be able to run two of them in crossfire in the future just in case I feel like upgrading. I'm a total noob so I don't really understand the amps and wattage stuff. This is the power supply that I am looking at:

(I'll only have one hard drive)

Here is a link to ATI's certified PSU list, seems like it should be ok.

That is plenty of power for two 4850s. I'd recommend a modular power supply. Makes cleaning up the inside of your case easy if you care about that sort of thing. Anything from Antec is top notch though.

Ya I would say that's enough power. Nice PSU for the money!!!

Ya that's plenty of power for your ICEQ4 and will handle CF well.

I'd definitely go with the modular, I have a Corsair 750TX and I'm wishing I got the 620HX for the modular design. Simplifies cable management beautifully. They are a little more on the price side but def worth it!
