Hello there, a little while back i brought a new computer with a Asus P5Q motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz Processor, 4GB RAM, and a ATi Radeon 4850 Graphics Card.
I'm not all that up-to-date with all this Crossfire and SLi marlarky, so i was wondering would i need a new Graphics Board to Crossfire? Would i need a new Motherboard? And also would the Graphics board have to be exactly the same brand, and be a 4850 to link the boards up?
Any replies thank you very much advance, the help is much appreciated
no your mobo is crossfire compatible but its only 8x/8x crossfire and your ATI radeon is crossfire ready anyways, all you need to do is to buy another one matching one, but with crossfire you don't have to have exactly the same card.
as for teh bridge connecter it should come bundled with the card and you only need one as far as I m aware.
