Hi,

when i first got my palm, i charged the battery for only half hour
before turning it on. does this make a difference on later performance
of the battery. it seems to me the battery dies way too fast and i
think it may be due to the first short charge. please help, and let me
know if there is a way of fixing this (maybe reseting palm somehow).

also is it possible to format palm to have no data on it?

thank you,

the hotshot

The consensus is that T|E has a notoriously short battery life. One common
tip is to adjust the brightness down. There are battery packs available for
emergency charges, etc. And you can use the device while it's charging,
which helps in synching and some other tinkering.

This may have some useful info:

Hard reset. Press and hold the power button while pressing the reset
button.

Try in-cradle reset. Just stab him in the back while charging.

Hard reset. Push power + stab in the back. When you release the power
button, he asks if you want to clear all data. If yes, push UP.
